Lead Software Engineer - Python, DevOps- Hybrid or remote
Salary - 65k + Bens - Hybrid role - Nottingham.
We can consider complete remote workers but some willingness and ability to attend in the Nottingham office would be preferred.
Do you have experience of python, DevOps plus team leading and are looking for a new challenge?
This amazing opportunity will see you take a lead role in an expanding innovative tech company who have been in existence over 30 years. If you are keen to take your career to the next level and are looking to a mix of development and team leading within a devops environment then read on.
This role which will provide you with an exciting opportunity where you will be challenged and rewarded in equal measure. This really is a great chance to lead a team, be a hands-on coder, plus be instrumental in advancing the departments way of working.
Role and responsibilities:-
Team Leadership
Develop and code software
Undertake functional testing
Lead investigations in to product use scenario's
Translate customer requirements to technical requirements
Project planning and decide on resource allocation
Produce design/specifications to meet customer requirements
Experience of the methods and tools relating to IAC and CI/CD are desirable

Identify and participate in research activities to assist in advancing department ways of working.

Provide this line post sales support
Skills/experience required:-
Python skills and associated DevOps environment adjacent skills would be useful
K8s, Docker, Terraform, Ansible and advantage but please still apply even if you don't have experience of these.

As a senior role we would ideally be looking for 5 years experience but please apply even if you don'r havethis much experience.
