    The Role: Are you looking to join a global, multi million turnover business that can offer great progression and support? If so then this is a fantastic opportunity for you We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, highly motivated Area Sales Manager to seek out potential new clients within the foodservice sector throughout the South of the UK.

    With free reign across a territory full of opportunity, you will be responsible for presenting our clients impressive portfolio of commercial catering equipment which covers anything from food prep to bar supplies to cutlery, into a range of wholesale customers, who in turn work with end users such as hotels, restaurants, events venues.

    Based from home, you will have autonomy to approach this role how you see fit and can approach potential new partners either directly, or via the end users by visiting hotels, restaurants, leisure venues - anywhere with a commercial kitchen - and back selling through them. Once a relationship with a new client has been established, you will work closely with them to ensure the onboarding process is as smooth as possible, and then pass them on to an account management team so that you can focus on what you do best - building new relationships and increasing the distribution network in the South of the UK.

    You will be responsible for managing your own time and diary. This is a hybrid role which will see your time split between face to face customer meetings out in the field and home.

    The Person - We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria for this sales consultant vacancy:

    • A target driven, new business hunter, with a proven track record in selling to the foodservice sector.
    • Open on product but commercial kitchen equipment would be highly advantageous.
    • You will be outgoing, tenacious, resilient, energetic and a natural rapport builder
    • Driving licence is required

    Salary: £40k+ (uncapped commission) £5k car allowance, Mobile, Laptop, iPad, 25 days holidays + Bank holidays.
