Lead Murex Business Analyst | £600-700 per day (inside IR35) | London


Industry: Capital Markets

Location: London – Hybrid (2 days onsite)

Job type: Contract

Salary: £700-800 per day (inside IR35)


The role:

Cititec has partnered with a London-based bank who are looking to bring a Murex Business Analyst into the business on a 6-month initial contract.


Requirements:


  • Experience as a Murex Business Analyst working closely with Business stakeholders
  • Experience working on two Murex Front-to-back migrations, involving Repos and Bonds
  • Experience of writing and, designing user stories, documenting requirements, clarifying requirements and participating in design authority to present functional challenges & design choices
  • Experience of configuring bonds/repo products in Murex
  • Knowledge of various fixed-income products/variants such as Government bonds, Inflation Bonds, ABS/MBS, Covered Bonds, Callable Bonds, etc
  • Core Murex concepts such as GOM, UAR, Murex processing scripts such as fixings, termination, etc
  • Strong knowledge of Trade Capture and Trade Life cycle events etc including Blocks and Allocations.
  • A clear understanding of securities static and other reference and market data needed to manage bonds/repo products in Murex
  • Strong Knowledge of Back Office processes - confirmations, swift messaging, settlement instruction derivation logic
  • Knowledge of DVP and FOP settlements
  • Understanding of Current Regulatory Reporting Requirements for Bonds and Repo.


Candidates without hands-on Murex experience will not be considered for this role.
