We are seeking to recruit an experienced Commercial Lawyer.

The candidate will have a broad range of commercial law experience, gained either in private practice, in-house or ideally a mixture of both. Our clients are mainly owner managed SMEs and so an appreciation of their needs is essential, as is a willingness to delight them with outstanding service. Work will involve drafting and reviewing documents and advising.

The candidate may have held senior positions in the past and be looking for a nice place to work, where light touch management is the order of the day. Mutual trust and respect is essential to our ethos. Alternatively, the candidate may have found that they have reached the glass ceiling at their current employer and may wish to explore a move with a view to obtaining partnership.

Ideally the role is full time but part time applications will be considered. Indeed, a degree of flexibility will be afforded to the right candidate. We pride ourselves on being entrepreneurial and benefit from being able to accommodate the needs of excellent lawyers, where perhaps other firms are not so flexible.

The role is based in Southampton, where the rest of the Company Commercial team are based. We also have Commercial Property, Commercial Litigation and Employment teams in Southampton to encourage cross referrals and collaboration on cross-team projects.

Salary and benefits to complement the skill and experience of the candidate and fee-earning targets.
