Maintenance Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-skilled Engineer to join our client's team based in Whittlesey on a permanent basis. You will provide maintenance support to the plant machines to ensure that the equipment is reliable and working optimally to improve plant performance. This role will also involve preventative maintenance and assistance with breakdowns to prevent lines shutting down.

Job Responsibilities
  • To ensure a high standard of maintenance to attain factory performance goals.
  • Mechanical setup and production support
  • Fault finding and repair of breakdowns.
  • To always be fully aware of factory safety issues and work in a safe manner.
  • Fabrication and installation of Plant and Machinery under supervision
  • Performance of Preventive Maintenance

Person specification
  • Experience of Production equipment, maintenance in a diverse factory environment
  • Dual skilled (Mechanical /Electrical maintenance)
  • Good diagnostic skills
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Team worker
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Reliable and conscientious

Hours and Pay
  • Salary £33,000
  • Shifts: 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 10pm (40hr week)
  • Overtime
  • 28 days holiday inc. bank holidays
  • Onsite parking
