NSF is a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services. Our Agriculture team audits against a number of plant and animal-based assurance schemes. We audit and certify that farms meet scheme owner standards.

We are looking for a BEIC Lion Code Assessor to join our team of contractors in Lincolnshire or East Anglia.

Principal Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct on-farm assessments
  • Summarize and evaluate audit findings, and submit reports in a timely manner
  • Communicate findings and results of audits with client site management or appropriate client representatives
  • Develop effective work plans for the completion of assigned audits within a determined timeframe
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with key team members, including audit delivery and client teams

The candidate we are looking for must have the following:

  • A background working in the laying hen industry (3 years experience), knowledge of poultry production systems, including scheme requirements
  • Understanding of feed mill operations

OR

  • NVQ LV 2 in Agriculture

AND

  • HACCP Awareness
  • The ability to communicate with and engage with the farming community and colleagues in a confident and patient manner
  • Enthusiastic and energetic with a keen eye for detail and a passion to improve standards
  • Ability to manage conflict and difficult situations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to manage own time and meet strict deadlines
  • General IT skills
  • Respect for individual and Company confidentiality rights
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Travel within 50 mile radius of your home base. If travel outside of the 50 miles is required, then mileage would be covered over the 100 miles round trip, and accommodation can be provided if necessary
