Due to expansion, Trident IES are looking to recruit a Refrigeration Technician (Ad-Hoc)

The Refrigeration Technician is expected to be technically strong, have good fault-finding abilities and a desire to work in a demanding yet rewarding industry. Previous offshore experience is not essential as further training and progression will be offered to the right candidate.

The role will report directly to the Refrigeration Manager in Aberdeen.

Trident IES, formerly known as IES Callenberg Ltd. was established in 1984 and has successfully been delivering our Scope of Service to the Oil & Gas industry since then. With over 30 years' experience in the provision of HVAC&R repair, maintenance and engineering services, we are the largest independent provider of HVAC&R services in the North sea. Our client portfolio includes major oil and gas operators and integrated service companies.
We employ over 100 staff and have a full compliment of highly experienced HVAC Consultants, design engineers, CAD Operators, Project engineers, Modular Door Technicians and support staff.
Although we primarily specialise in the Oil & Gas industry, we have also grown our contracts in the Renewable energy sector, servicing many on and offshore sub-stations across various windfarms.

Servicing, maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of Refrigeration systems
~ Carry out surveys, inspections and investigations
~ A time served apprenticeship and/or experience of working with Refrigeration Systems
NVQ Level 2/3 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Service & Maintenance) (SCQF Level 5 and above)
Basic knowledge of HVAC Systems
Commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment
Computer skills - good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Flexible in response to short notice call-offs and to travel to different offshore locations
Someone with a positive work attitude and commitment to continuous personal and professional development
