Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Manager to oversee the efficient operation, maintenance and administration of this newly completed office building located in Bristol. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in facilities / building management, exceptional leadership ability and a commitment to provide a safe, comfortable and productive environment for tenants and visitors.


Key responsibilities


  • Facilitating the smooth management of the building
  • Create a community culture
  • Participating in meetings with contractors, service providers and tenants
  • Procurement and instruction of planned and reactive maintenance
  • Engage with clients and build relationships while reporting any issues or accidents
  • Use CAFM systems
  • Monitor contract performance to required standards
  • Schedule H&S audits
  • Work with sustainability improvements and measures to deliver a positive impact


Qualification and Requirements


  • 3 - 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Confident knowledge of M&E along with CAFM systems
  • Experience with commercial facilities management
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Strong client facing abilities with examples of maintaining positive relationships
  • IOSH or NEBOSH


Salary


  • Up to £45k DOE
