Peaple Talent have partnered with a large professional services organisation based in Cardiff who are currently going through impressive growth and are expanding their development team and are recruiting for a full stack developer with experience of developing backend services using Python and Django and frontend Typescript, react and redux. You will be working within a team of experienced developers and will have a great opportunity to develop and grow your skills through working with varied and diverse programmes of work.

Job responsibilities

  • Build Infrastructure, using Terraform and cloud services such as AWS.
  • Deploy your code to production and support it.
  • Design REST APIs
  • Champion best practices like automated testing and continuous deployment
  • Share knowledge by pair programming, show and tell sessions.
  • Play an active role in agile ceremonies like retrospectives and sprint planning.

Skills and Experience

  • Backend services Python, Django
  • Front end Typescript, react, redux.
  • Familiar with Agile development practices
  • Experience with unit testing
  • Commercial experience with software development of either front-end or backend development
  • Experience of pair programming or mentoring
  • Ability to breakdown and solve problems
