We are currently looking for a Automation Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the South East/Capital of the UK. As the Automation Engineer you will experienced with Siemens TIA Portal, and responsible for supporting vendors with overseeing/writing of software and safety controls.

The role is an initial 12 month contract and assessed Outside scope of IR35. Please note this role is fully site based.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Automation Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for programming Pharmaceutical machinery and assisting with on-site installation and commissioning.

2. As the Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and documentation review of Pharmaceutical equipment and adhering to GMP and GAMP 5 guidelines.

3. As the Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for executing and witnessing SAT, IQ / OQ / PQ. You will be reviewing and approving design and test documentation.

4. As the Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting vendors with overseeing/writing of software and safety controls.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Automation Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline.

2. Proven industry experience as an Automation / EC&I / Control Systems Engineer within the Pharmaceutical industry is essential.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Siemens TIA Portal is essential.
