La Fosse have partnered with a renowned client in the utilities industry, who are seeking to recruit a Solution Architect to work in their evolving architecture team. The business is undergoing a significant operating model change.

In this role, you'll join a team of Solution, Enterprise and Business Architects, aligned to a business area, and take ownership of the architectural roadmap it.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Defining and delivering scalable and secure architectures across the business area.
  • Demonstrable experience in producing artefacts for Application, Infrastructure, Data, Security Architecture.
  • Lead discussions with business owners (from a tech/business standpoint)
  • Ensure solutions match the overall reference architecture, architectural building blocks and non-functional requirements to provide a structure for project outputs.

Experience Required

  • Demonstrable experience in owning and managing the architectural roadmap for your domain.
  • A track record in guiding/ leading other architects to produce high-level designs.
  • Demonstratable experience in working in multi-functional project teams and with 3rd parties/vendors
  • Experience in the utilities/energy industry would be highly beneficial.

This organisation will have a hybrid flexible working model, with 2 days per week required in their East Sussex office.
