HW Interim Solutions is partnering with a London based, PLC business to appoint an Interim Group Financial Controller on an ongoing assignment.

As Interim Group Financial Controller, you will oversee the financial operations of the Group, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial activities. You will be responsible for managing the financial reporting process, , implementing robust financial controls, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management. This interim role requires a seasoned professional who can quickly adapt and make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and address any audit findings.

Ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have a proven track record as a Group Financial Controller within a Group environment.

Hybrid working – 3 days per week on site in London City Centre

Immediately available

This role will be delivered on a Fixed Term Contract basis.
