TalentEdge are working with a rapidly scaling FinTech business who are searching for an experience Financial Controller to join their team on a 6-month FTC. This role will be supporting the wider finance team following an acquisition of a new business unit. This is a great opportunity if you are immediately available or on short-notice and looking to join an exciting tech business with plans for international expansion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the month-end process for a newly acquired business unit
  • Prepare the BU for financial year-end and by ready for audit
  • Being a key contact for the auditors on any technical issues.
  • Statutory reporting and tax work (UK & international)
  • Driving process improvements across the business and guaranteeing all internal controls remain robust.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualification with significant years of PQE
  • Strong audit background
  • Previous experience working in FinTech/Financial Services is a must
  • Experience using Xero
