Who are we seeking?
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Brand Team as a Social Media Marketing Coordinator. Reporting into the Senior Content, Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media, content & influencer, marketing strategy to enhance our online presence, engage our audience, and drive our brand's growth. This role requires a combination of creativity, analytical skills, and a passion for social media trends and technologies.
As an exceptional communicator, who is extremely organized with excellent project management abilities, you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure brand-relevant and engaging content is flawlessly posted across all social media channels across our 3 main countries: UK, France and Italy.
This position is perfect for someone who is highly organized, creative, a good communicator, passionate about social media, and has a keen interest in and excitement for the pet industry. An ideal candidate will be a brand ambassador, ensuring all social media content reflects our brand values and messaging.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Platform Management: Develop, curate, publish and manage high-quality content across all social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and any other relevant future social media channels), including all content formats.
- Strategy Development: Create and implement social media strategies aligned with business goals to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Community Management: Engage with our online community, respond to comments and messages promptly, and monitor user engagement and feedback.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, adjust strategies as needed, and provide regular reports on performance and insights.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the marketing, design, sales, regulatory and global teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and integrated marketing efforts.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to optimize our social media presence.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute paid social media campaigns across UK, France, Italy and German markets.
- Marketing Campaign Support: Support the team to execute marketing campaigns across UK, France, Italy and German markets. Manage the campaign operations.
- Content Creation: Create all social media content (across platforms and formats) using Canva, Shutterstock, Plannable and any other relevant design tools.
- Offline Event Management: Organize and manage offline events to promote brand awareness and engagement, ensuring seamless integration with online campaigns.
- Content Collaboration: Collaborate with influencers, brand partners, and other partners and stakeholders to create engaging and relevant content that aligns with our brand’s voice and goals.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role, with a portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
- Skills:
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Plannable, Sprout, Later etc).
-Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube etc.).
-Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
-Creative thinking and the ability to produce engaging content.
-Thorough understanding of the graphic design and video editing software is a must
-Experience in event planning and management is a plus.
Personal Attributes:
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Passionate about social media and digital marketing.
- Capable of reporting on KPIs and providing strategic recommendations
- Being a dog or cat parent is not a must, but a keen interest in pets is in our brand DNA and is necessary
- Multi-lingual will be considered an asset (French or Italian)
