They have built a unique and cutting edge SaaS platform that enables banks and big corporates to automate and scale their working capital solutions. They've recently been revamping their processes and tech stack to continue delivering industry leading functionality to their clients and their now looking for a Technical Team Lead to play a key role in the delivery of their enterprise SaaS platform.

This role will involve leading a team of 6-8 developers whose focus will be delivering key features on the platform with a particular focus on client integration. This position will also involve lots of interaction with internal and external facing stakeholders so previous exposure to this will be vital.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the team to deliver high quality, resilient and scalable solutions with intial focus on their client integrations on the platform
  • Manage team adherence to agreed processes (e.g., code quality, unit testing, estimation, incident handling, time tracking, etc.)
  • Mindset of continuous improvement; ensuring opportunities for improvement are implemented
  • Work closely with the aligned Principal Engineers on solution designs, technical best practices, tech debt reduction, delivery quality standards, and the technical direction of the team
  • Champion a mindset of continuous improvement; ensuring opportunities for improvement are implemented
  • Monitor and coach team members on their output, driving improvement in the quality of the team’s delivery

Requirements

  • 5+ years software programming experience ideally in Java
  • Experience managing a technical team
  • Experience working in a SaaS or B2B environment
  • Ability to interact with clients and facing off to internal stakeholders
  • Experience working with integration tools e.g. ActiveBatch, Airflow, Talend ESB and/or other ETL tools
