Job Description

A leading insurance underwriter at the forefront of technological innovation are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. Committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions you will be a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, playing a pivotal role in defining and implementing technology solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business users and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems, processes, and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, and developers to define and deliver technology solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Participate in the full project lifecycle, from initial concept through to implementation and post-implementation support.
  • Contribute to the development of test plans and collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst within the insurance industry, with a focus on the London Market or Lloyds.
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes and underwriting workflows.
  • Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications used in the insurance sector.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., IIBA, CBAP) are a plus.


The role is hybrid (3 days in the office) with a salary of £90-100k and flexible for the right candidate. Wider package includes bonus, pension, private healthcare, wellbeing allowance, etc.
