We are working closely with a primary school that exudes a joyful and energetic atmosphere, providing its students with remarkable learning and growth opportunities. They are currently searching for a year 1 class teacher. As the teacher, you will be responsible for teaching engaging, challenging lessons that foster accomplishment and instil a lifelong passion for learning.

The curriculum is well-structured, abundant in content, and progressive, enabling students to reach their highest potential. You will join a positive and successful team where emphasis is placed on professional growth.
Your role will include but is not limited to:Provide a stimulating, challenging, well-organised and inspiring classroom environment.Set clear, measurable targets to ensure children’s learning progresses.Keep efficient tracking and progression records, including formative and summative assessment.Report to parents on the development, attainment, and progress of their child.Manage behaviour through positive reinforcement and role-modelling.Participate in meetings as and when required.Lead, direct, and communicate effectively with support staff within the classroom.

RequirementsMust possess QTSKnowledge of applying a range of teaching strategies to meet the differing needs of children.A valid in-date Enhanced DBS (preferably on the Update Service)Clear and robust behaviour management skills.
