We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Air Traffic Control Officer (SATCO) to be responsible for the overall direction and supervision of the Air Traffic Controllers at Exeter Airport.

The successful applicant should preferably hold Aerodrome and Approach Radar ratings in the UK and a valid EU Class 3 medical certificate.


Job Purpose

  • Oversee the direction and day to day supervision of the Air Traffic Team to ensure a safe, efficient and effective Air Traffic service to all users
  • Coordinate with air traffic team to ensure effective communication and collaboration in operation.
  • Deputise for the Air Traffic Services Manager in their absence
  • Liaise with the team in connection with Flight Planning duties


Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record as and Air Traffic Controller
  • Extensive knowledge of airport operations & commercial awareness
  • Strong knowledge of air traffic control procedures, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience of SMS
  • UK ATCO Licence holder
