PE Secondaries: Investment Associate

Our Client:
Our client are a leading global private capital investor, with offices across Europe, the US and Asia, who are looking to expand their PE Secondaries team in London at the Investment Associate level. This team have over $2bn in AUM, with significant fresh capital available to deploy and the ability to take leading positions executing blue-chip deals in the market. Their senior team have a market leading track record, and the firm are able to execute a wide variety of successful secondary PE transaction structures, with a slight weighting towards GP-led deals over LP-portfolio situations, but the flexibility to execute both and to remain active in all market cycles. They're able to purchase LP commitments in funds ranging extensively in size (from growth to large cap), sector (agnostic), and geography (pan-European), giving this role an exciting diversity of focus. They also have a lean team structure with high levels of responsibility and exposure given to all team members, in a tight-knit and collegiate working environment.

Requirements:
- 2-3 years' M&A, Leveraged Finance or Secondary Advisory/Private Capital Advisory experience in a top tier investment bank.
- Reputable educational background.
- Well-considered motivations for wanting to be part of the secondary PE investments space.
- Strong financial modelling skills, analytical rigour and investment mindset.
- Ability to think outside of the box and show strong commercial judgement.
