Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Girlswear Designer at Dongyi Sourcing UK Limited.

The Girlswear Designer will be responsible for day-to-day design tasks, including creating new designs, sketching, selecting fabrics and trims, and preparing design presentations. The role requires collaborating with the design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality designs.

This role is predominently jersey based however woven experience as well would be preferable

Qualifications

• Strong fashion design skills, including sketching and creating new designs
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and trims
• Proficiency in design software and tools
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design execution
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Experience in girlswear design on the UK high street
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and market demands
