The main duties will include:
- To lead the team to achieve their individual goals as well as the wider branch, region, and
- company objectives
- Ensure quotations and orders are followed up and processed accurately in a timely manner.
- Reviewing customer accounts and working with the Finance department to reduce invoices in
- query and aged debt.
- Managing supplier relationships and sharing supplier information where appropriate.
- Maintain existing and develop new customer relationships.
- To support the Regional Manager in growing and developing the branch.
- Manage workforce levels and holiday approvals for the branch team
- Assist the Regional Manager in recruiting new members to the branch when required.
- Undertake regular team and individual progress meetings.
- Ensure all team members are fully trained on company processes and procedures.
- Oversee branch administration ensuring excellent customer service is achieved.
- Review branch reports regularly and take appropriate action, where required
- Engage with and support marketing initiatives
- Work alongside the Business Development team to maximise sales and customer service levels.
The skills required to be successful in this role are:
- Ability to lead and develop a successful team through coaching, mentoring, and performance
- management
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Industrial Automation and control industry would be
- advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- High level of sales and business acumen
- Good time management and organisation to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments
- IT literate (MS Word, Excel & Outlook) and experience in CRM / ERP
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm in all situations
- Passion for sales combined with the ability to make sound commercial decisions;
- Ability to embrace and manage change independently
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with our colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- Be happy to work in a busy, fast-paced, and varied environment;
- Forward thinking looking to continually improve the way we do things
