ABOUT BUSINESS LEADER

Business Leader is building an agenda-setting, aspirational and inspirational business publication for the UK that covers digital, audio, video, newsletters and our magazine. It will share news that matters, ideas and expertise more effectively and widely.
The mission of Business Leader is to inspire business breakthroughs in the UK. We want to help ambitious founders and CEOs scale-up their businesses so they grow from medium-sized businesses (of which there are 110,000 in the UK) to large companies (of which there are only 7,500). Medium-sized businesses can become a significant growth engine in the UK that create more jobs, boost the economic prospects of individuals and regions, and improve society.
Our editorial content is at the heart of this mission.
JOB SUMMARY
Business Leader is looking for a writer to help produce its new content. This is someone who has a track record of producing agenda-setting content or has shown they have the potential to do so. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to be at the centre of one of the most ambitious media projects in the UK.
This is a London-based role with a competitive salary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Produce agenda-setting, insightful and entertaining in-depth features, big-name interviews and world-class masterclasses on key issues for business leaders
-Work with the editorial team to develop Business Leader’s editorial content across digital, print, audio and video
-Contribute to the Off to Lunch newsletter and our podcast and video series
-Use an entrepreneurial mindset to develop new editorial content and projects
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates could come from a range of backgrounds and experience but should demonstrate a track-record of producing high-quality digital, print, video or audio content, or have shown the potential to do so. Ideally this will have been for a business or finance audience.
They must have the following skills:
-Passionate about producing high-quality content and hungry to learn and develop
-Extensive network of contacts who can be sources of news, features and interviews for Business Leader
-A curious, ambitious, and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and move at pace
