Our client, a leading food business is urgently looking for a Stock Controller to receive all goods in an accurate and timely manner while adhering to site processes and procedures.

Key responsibilities:

  • Check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and possible damages.
  • Upload all flight advice and preparing paperwork for expected deliveries.
  • Create and monitor expected flight times.
  • Notify relevant department of any damaged goods received and place in the quarantine section, awaiting further instruction.
  • Notify suppliers of any discrepancies on deliveries
  • Responsible for all equipment used in the goods-in area.


Candidate requirements:

  • relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
  • least 6 to 12 months Stock Control, Inventory Management or Good Receiving experience in a Food or FMCG environment.
  • ERP systems experience (knowledge of Prophet ERP system will be advantageous).
  • to detail.


Salary will be circa £24K to £26K + Benefits.

25 leave days + 8 public holidays.

40 working hours (Sunday to Tuesday: 06:00am - 18:00pm & Wednesday 06:00am - 14:00pm)

The role will be based in the Hertfordshire area.
