Job Title: Senior Programme Director

Role Overview: As a Senior Programme Director, you will serve as the senior client lead on a group of accounts within one or more client companies. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning and quality delivery of client programmes, supporting business development efforts, and providing leadership to the team. This role requires strategic thinking, strong client management skills, and the ability to drive growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and oversee quality delivery of client programmes.
  • Understand and challenge client briefs, ensuring programmes are completed on brief, on time, and on budget.
  • Ensure compliance with agency and client standards, approval processes, and compliance.
  • Identify and recommend improvements in work processes.
  • Lead or support regular client-agency reviews.
  • Provide expertise in estimating and budgeting, confidently selling budgets to clients and negotiating with senior stakeholders.
  • Manage full financial aspects, including reconciliations, invoicing, and resource allocation.
  • Develop strategic medical communication/education plans for clients, advising on programme KPIs and ensuring alignment with objectives.
  • Lead the growth of accounts through proactive suggestion of ideas and programmes.
  • Manage senior client teams effectively, understanding client motivations and priorities.
  • Oversee KOL management, ensuring positive relationships with both agency and client.
  • Lead business development efforts, identifying growth opportunities and winning new accounts.
  • Effectively lead account teams, fostering a culture of excellence and motivating team members to achieve programme KPIs.
  • Provide line management and people development, ensuring clear objectives, regular feedback, and career development opportunities.
  • Contribute to resource planning and recruitment efforts.
  • Adhere to and support company values, fostering a culture of ambition, accountability, collaboration, agility, and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, Communications).
  • Extensive experience in programme management, client management, and business development.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven ability to drive growth and profitability.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
