The Role:

The candidate will drive and support the SAP implementation in Production Planning (PP) functionality

Area of Responsibility :

Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP PP

Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide

appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer

requirements.

Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements

Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product

modifications to satisfy clients' needs.

Design, customize, configure and testing of PP

End user training and create required documentation.

Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.

Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve problems.

Document functional designs, test cases and results.

Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements

Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects

Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.

Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required

Knowledge / Experience

Experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.

Designing and configuring PP modules knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules (MM and CO experience is an asset).

Experience with shop floor processing functions in SAP and Production Planning.

Required Experience in discrete & Repetitive manufacturing and process like MTO & MTS ,variant config and ECM ,Batch & Serial Number Management.

Business Process understanding of Interface between different IT Applications like ( MES, PLM) and its integration with ECC .

Understanding of business processes of Supply Chain Management.

Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective

Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others

Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a ‘can-do‘ attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness

In-depth knowledge of and experience with Auto Industry business processes.
