The Best Connection is currently seeking to recruit HGV Class 1 Container Drivers to work Monday to Friday day shifts for our client based in Southampton.

This is ongoing work with a 9 hour minimum pay daily.

The requirements of the HGV Class 1 Container Driver:

  • Working day shifts
  • Flexible start times
  • Collection and delivery of containers
  • Trunking work in and around the South East
  • No heavy lifting
  • No multi drop
  • No handball
  • DP World card required (can be obtained through The Best Connection)

Licence specifications for the HGV Class 1 Container Driver:

  • C+E Licence (1 year minimum experience)
  • CPC
  • Digital Tachograph with good knowledge for WTDs
  • No DD,DR,CD or IN10
  • Maximum 6 points on Licence

Pay rates for the HGV Class 1 Container Driver:

  • £15.00 per hour PAYE
  • £18.13 per hour PAYE Umbrella
