IT Apprentice

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Cathedral Hygiene. We are a family run washroom services provider who has customers based across the UK and we are looking for an IT Apprentice to join our team at our Head Office in Tamworth.
What the role involves:
Providing excellent technical support to our office based and remote employees.
Assisting with IT equipment maintenance and upgrades.
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, both remotely and onsite.
Assisting with repairs and replacements for faulty IT equipment.
Contributing to the setup and installation of laptops, tablets and smartphones.
Assisting with the administration of IT systems.
Assisting with website maintenance and content updates.
Travel to other company sites may be required and there might be the need for occasional after-hours work to meet the companys operational requirements.
Supporting the IT Manager with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
The skills we are looking for:
Hands on experience in using and installing Microsoft Office and other programs.
Experience with computer builds and repairs. (desirable)
Functional skills in Maths, English and IT.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of Android platforms for smartphone and tablets (desirable)
Self-Starter, able to work proactively whilst unattended, punctual, reliable and conscientious.
Demonstrate a passion for computers.
Full UK driving licence.
