This is an initial 9-month contract (outside IR35) / £400 per day / York office 3-days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 3-4 projects, each valued between £3-5 million
- Oversee project lifecycle from tender evaluation through to completion
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Mentor and guide Assistant Project Managers to support their professional development
- Maintain project documentation, budgets, and schedules
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of project management experience within the Rail industry
- Strong understanding of rail terminology, processes, and project lifecycle
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements
