Originally a facial therapist, Jo fell in love with fragrance while working from her discreet skin care clinic which she set up from her London home. Discovering an instinctual talent for creating scented products by hand in her kitchen, word of her exceptional potions quickly spread and soon Jo was unable to keep up with demand. From these artisan beginnings Jo launched her first brand, Jo Malone London, which gained cult status around the world. In 1999, Jo sold the business to Estée Lauder Companies and remained Creative Director until she left in 2006.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing in-house creative team based in London. You will support the Head of Creative to deliver evolving global brand and commercial assets, store design, merchandising and packaging design. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop under the leadership of our management team with a wealth of experience in the beauty industry.
JOB TITLE:
CREATIVE (Mid-level designer)

EXPERIENCE:
3 years
REPORTS TO: Head of Creative
Requirements:
• A minimum of three years working for a brand or agency within beauty or fashion.
• A passion for brands, graphic design, branding and digital content.
• A strong understanding of digital design and delivering artwork for social media - IG / TikTok / FB / LinkedIn / YouTube.
• Creative flair using typography, imagery and layout.
• Conceptual thinker who demonstrates an elevated craft in their work.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Fully conversant in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience managing time wisely and juggling multiple project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in producing packaging design and print artwork.
• Experience in delivering projects for moving image content.
• Experience in editing and animation a plus.
• Experience working for beauty brands.
• Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of formats for print, digital and moving image.
• Familiarity with project management systems a bonus.
Responsibilities:
• Create content for Jo Loves social media platforms covering events, seasonal campaigns, retail, celebrity, brand partnerships and brand storytelling.
• Conceptualise and drive the narrative and storytelling on a visual level.
• Work with our freelance copywriters to design the brand content rollout across all social channels.
• Produce social media design guidelines and templates.
• Produce design concepts and artwork for retail windows and instore.
• Be across the detail to design and deliver content balancing a multi-disciplinary skillset grounded in graphic design.
• Work with teams of creatives such as illustrators, photographers, videographers, 3D artists, animators and designers to collaboratively deliver content.
• Be a brand content custodian for work being produced by global markets and retailers.
• Present directly to key stakeholders and department heads to deliver and approve deliverables against tight deadlines.
