Job Description

At Pauzible, our aim is to support individuals aspiring to get onto the housing ladder and assist existing owners in retaining their properties.


We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Broker to join our team at Pauzible UK Limited. As a Mortgage Broker, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients seeking mortgage products tailored to their needs.


Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand their financial situation, goals, and preferences regarding mortgage products.
  • Analyse various mortgage products available in the market and recommend the most suitable options to clients based on their requirements.
  • Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation for submission to lenders.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements set forth by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and other relevant authorities.
  • Stay updated on changes in mortgage regulations, products and market trends to provide clients with the most accurate and relevant advice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in regular file reviews conducted by third-party firms to ensure compliance and adherence to best practices.


Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Broker, preferably 3 years or more, dealing with mortgage products and consumers.
  • Possession of CeMAP Level 3 qualification or higher is mandatory. A copy of the certificate must be provided as part of the application process.
  • Familiarity with FCA regulations and a clean record on the FCA Register is essential. Candidates must be able to provide their Individual Reference Number for verification purposes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effectively interacting with clients, lenders and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess clients' financial situation and recommend appropriate mortgage products.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all dealings.
