About the company:

A well-established accountancy practice, with a fantastic team. The firm is looking for an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager, in a role that would be around 25% audit at most. They are open to more/less experienced candidates, as long as you have the relevant audit/practice experience.



Responsibilities include:

Accounts:

  • Preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders, charities and partnerships.
  • Preparation of periodic management accounts including VAT returns.

Audit:

  • Carrying out audit work in relation to clients – variety of industries including manufacturing and retail with turnovers between £10m and £25m.
  • Specialist audit assignments in relation to Charities and Solicitors.
  • Reporting to the audit manager / directors.
  • Supervising assistants on audit.

Interpersonal skills:

  • Good communicator at all levels.
  • Personable and able to get on with the team and clients.
  • Highly motivated and keen to progress.


Skills/Qualifications required:

  • ACCA / ACA Qualified or final stages.
  • Recent experience in a mixed accounts and audit position.
  • Experience within accountancy practice.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
