We are currently seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to work for a well known regional Tier 1 Contractor, on a full time, hybrid basis (2 days WFH, 3 days WFO), based in the Essex area.

The role involves a "Player Manager" mentality by way of managing existing Quantity Surveying & Senior Quantity Surveying staff as well as taking financial responsibility for a large commercial new build project (£30M+).

Area of coverage is typically Essex & Hertfordshire, with public sectors such as MOD, APF/AHR and DofE being of particular focus.

The company behind the vacancy is a market leading, forward thinking, Tier 1 main Contractor that consistently has a wealth of work, a significant proportion of which is on a repeat business basis.

This role would suit either an existing Managing Quantity Surveyor considering their next career move, or a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for their next promotion.
