HR Policy & Project Manager (2 year fixed term/secondment)

We’re seeking dynamic and experienced HR Policy & Project Managers to play a key role in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and key strategic projects aligned with the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s Corporate Plan and emerging HR Workforce strategy.

About the role 

As an HR Policy & Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and key strategic projects.

Working closely with senior management, you’ll shape our HR policies to align with our corporate plan and workforce strategy, ensuring they promote a culture of high performance, employee empowerment and inclusion

You will be responsible for project managing complex HR policy development, possible line management responsibility and providing expert guidance to the Council's senior team.

About you

You will be CIPD qualified or have extensive HR policy and/or employee relations experience, with excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills. You will have excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.

Proven project management experience is essential, as well as the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including trade unions and senior managers to influence decision-making.

Your ability to manage competing priorities and drive continuous improvement will be key to your success in this role.
