Job Description:

We’re in search of a Senior Marketing Executive to join our team and work directly with the founder, diving deep into the essence of our agency’s approach. As a Senior Marketing Executive you will be responsible for managing retention marketing strategies (such as Email and SMS) for a diverse range of exciting D2C brands in industries like health & beauty, fashion, and home decor. This role requires a deep understanding of the eCommerce sector to successfully come up with ideas and find the perfect blend of strategy, creativity, and execution.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Create and Manage Retention Marketing Campaigns: Develop and oversee retention strategies for our clients, primarily focusing on email and SMS channels. Utilise research and historical data to inform your campaigns.
  • Schedule and Execute Campaigns: Timely schedule and send email and SMS campaigns using email service providers (ESPs) like Klaviyo.
  • Campaign Tracking and Organisation: Ensure all campaigns are sent as planned and organise the workflow using project management tools like Asana to track progress and address any issues.
  • Monitor Campaign Performance: Employ marketing software to track the results of campaigns and provide weekly reports, highlighting successful strategies and areas for improvement.
  • Oversee Marketing Projects: Ensure that marketing projects for all clients are effectively managed, with tasks prioritised appropriately. Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them updated on project progress and any critical developments.
  • Client Communication Management: Handle communications with clients, providing regular updates on performance and insights to maintain their engagement with our services.


Requirements:


  • Fluent in English: Must have excellent writing and speaking skills.
  • Growth Mindset: Strong desire for continuous learning and self-improvement.
  • Experience in eCommerce Marketing: Minimum of 2 years proven experience, specifically in eCommerce marketing.
  • eCommerce Expertise: Experience working directly with or for a Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brand, or within a marketing agency specialising in eCommerce services.
  • Proficient with Marketing Automation Software: Familiarity with marketing automation tools specifically used for eCommerce stores (such as Klaviyo, Sendlane, Yotpo, etc.)
  • Knowledge of eCommerce Platforms: Experience using platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento, etc.
  • Passionate about Retention Marketing: Strong interest and enthusiasm for all aspects of retention marketing.
  • Independent and Communicative: Self-starter with excellent communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with various teams.
  • Highly Organised: Planning is second nature to you, enabling efficient management of tasks and deadlines.
  • Analytical Abilities: Skilled at analysing client metrics to identify both successful and unsuccessful strategies.
  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
