Tower Technician

Mitie Telecoms are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer - Climber based in the Oxford-shire/Buckingham-shire area.

You will be a Telecoms trained climber to fulfil the role within a Maintenance & Reactive team. Training can be provided for the right candidate but you must be able to climb & work at height.

What are the main duties for the Multi Skilled Engineer?

As a multi skilled Engineer - Climber you will be carrying out reactive & fault recification tasks as part of a climbing pair/team, but able to work alone if required. Responsibilities include both at height and ground level works within the Telecoms site umbrella, undertaking minor planned maintenance work as necessary, procuring materials and equipment to carry out works as necessary in line with contract guidelines, obtaining appropriate authorisation for access onto site as and when required.

What are the key objectives of the role?

To carry out duties in compliance with Mitie Technical Facilities Management Ltd Policies and Procedures. To drive and promote Mitie's One Code which is integral to our companies values and behaviors. To perform tasks in a professional manner to a suitable standard to meet both Client and Mitie expectation. Compliance with Health and Safety policy/legislation

What does our ideal candidate look like?

All climbing personnel must meet basic medical and fitness requirements. Experience, working within the mobile telecommunications industry.

Please note, all successful candidates, if not already qualified, will be put through training to reach an approved standard to work safely at height and/or on climbable structures.
