We currently service both the out-patients and in-patients due to be discharged from QEHB and BHH and operate in a manner akin to a community pharmacy with the hospital clinical pharmacy team maintaining oversight and responsibility for the clinical accuracy of prescriptions for both discharge and many outpatient clinics.

We are currently recruiting for pharmacists to join our team at the QEHB site. It is essential that the candidates are flexible and have experience in a busy pharmacy environment with high volume dispensing. All pharmacists are expected to lead the team to deliver the best care for our patients so the successful applicant should be able to demonstrate strengths in both excellent customer service and team leading skills. We welcome applicants from either hospital or community settings for this dispensary based role.

This is a unique opportunity to support the delivery of the care from our automated pharmacies. After a qualifying period we aim to support post-graduate education and the development of staff is ongoing, therefore this is an ideal opportunity for a pharmacist who may wish to gain secondary care experience to further a clinical pharmacy role in the future.
