Finance PURPOSE OF JOB:

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join us on a fixed term contract as a 12 month maternity cover. Working alongside our management accountant to provide support and co-ordination of accounts and finance operations .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assisting and reviewing BSS management accounts
  • Month end journals, balance sheet reconciliations
  • Main contact for audit – external
  • Assisting with internal audits
  • Preparing reports for IFRS reporting 9, 15 and 16
  • Preparation of the statutory accounts
  • Assisting with corporation tax
  • Money markets, trading, treasury and FX trading
  • Helping with the new finance system transition

Department Goals

  • Ensure that procedures and best practice are implemented
  • Be able to review the management accounts to a good level
  • Ensure financial reporting transition to new system goes smoothly

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Educational Qualifications:

DESIRABLE

Professional Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or 3+ years industry experience

ESSENTIAL

Other Requirements

  • Accounting System Experience (Ideally Oracle or NetSuite)
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience in producing management accounts and statutory accounts
