Senior Options Sales

Our client, a corporate FX and hedging provider based in the City of London, is seeking a Senior Options Sales professional to join their dynamic team. Authorized by the FCA as a payments services firm, our client specializes in commercial foreign exchange, serving over 66,000 clients globally. As part of a wider financial services group, they offer unparalleled support and opportunities for growth.

Job Overview:

The Senior Options Sales position is instrumental in driving the ongoing success of the company. As a pivotal member of the team, you will spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive options sales strategy, acquiring new clients across global territories, and providing exceptional service to existing clients. This role offers autonomy and flexibility with minimal geographical restrictions, supported by industry-leading provisions in product and credit.

Responsibilities:

Options Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive options sales strategy, including market segmentation, value proposition creation, and pricing models.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to provide valuable insights and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Client Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their risk management needs, and offering tailored options trading solutions.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies regarding options trading and sales practices.
  • Implement robust risk management protocols to minimize exposure and safeguard the company's interests.

Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor global financial markets and economic indicators, providing timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and potential risks.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in FX options sales within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record in client relationship management and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, options trading strategies, and risk management principles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of making informed decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept at conveying complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated senior-level experience in a commercial environment within a regulated investment firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of markets and regulatory environments relevant to FX firms.
  • Familiarity with liquidity provider trading systems (e.g., Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Morgan Stanley).
