The Role

This role sits within our clients Oracle Delivery team, and within the Financials, SCM and Procurement capability, delivering services principally against the Oracle E-Business Suite products. The role will be mostly delivering against Managed Service engagements, but will also include delivering some project work. The role will involve occasional client (UK wide) travel, as well as occasional travel for internal meetings. The role will be home based.


The successful candidate will be primarily a Supply Chain, Financials or Procurement Hybrid functional/technical consultant.  The candidate will be able to successfully liaise with customers to deliver functional and technical development solutions to issues and new requirements. 


Your Experience and Skills

  • Outstanding functional capability to include understanding of Core Financials, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement, iProcurement and associated modules eg. Inventory, and Order Management
  • Supply Chain, Finance and/or Procurement business process and including an understanding of current trends and best practice. Someone who can take a business problem and provide a system-based solution.
  • Excellent technical capability, to include understanding of the Financials, Supply Chain and/or Procurement/iProcurement data structures. Significant experience of standard Oracle development tools, including areas such as PL/SQL & APIs, Alerts, Workflow, BI Publisher & Bursting.
  • Previous experience of working within a support environment, underpinned by ITIL based working practices (the candidate should ideally be certified at Foundation level for ITIL, but training to support this will be provided if a candidate can demonstrate understanding of the principles).

  • ITIL v3 Certification would be desirable.
