We lead the charge in technology and engineering, serving clients across National Security, Defence, and Industry 4.0. As a leader in our Sensors & Communications division, you'll tackle complex challenges alongside our customers, driving innovation and setting industry standards.


You will:


  • Pioneer Innovation: Lead the charge in implementing cutting-edge methodologies to accelerate hardware development processes.
  • Drive Strategic Capabilities: Identify, champion, and deliver innovative solutions aligned with our strategic objectives, enhancing Roke's market position and intellectual property portfolio.
  • Elevate Brand Presence: Position us as a thought leader through the creation of insightful content and active participation in industry events and media.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with leadership to shape and evolve our capabilities, fostering cross-functional collaboration and innovation.
  • Forge Partnerships: Lead collaborative efforts with business partners and academic institutions, fostering an ecosystem of co-creation and collaboration.
  • Provide Technical Expertise: Offer guidance on technical matters related to Sensors & Communications, including assessing capabilities, defining policies, and recommending tools.
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety: Support the Innovation Director in matters concerning product safety, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
  • Inspire Excellence: Serve as a beacon of inspiration within the Sensors & Communications profession, energizing our community through exemplary leadership.
  • Uphold Standards: Ensure strict adherence to policies and procedures, maintaining integrity and excellence in all endeavors.
  • Adaptability and Collaboration: Undertake additional duties as necessary to support the smooth functioning of the business, leveraging your experience and qualifications.


Requirements:


  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency and passion in Sensors & Communications.
  • Thought Leadership: Experience in providing guidance and thought leadership to stakeholders.
  • Agile Management: Track record of leading agile teams and delivering complex projects at pace.
  • Innovation: Proven ability to deliver transformative solutions and guide clients through the innovation journey.
  • Business Acumen: Accomplished professional with deep knowledge of capability provision and business development in the relevant domain.
  • Industry Insight: Understanding of sector operations, organizations, and structures, with the ability to align them to product and service offerings.
