MOT Tester

As an MOT Tester Technician, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and accurate MOT inspections on vehicles in compliance with government regulations and company standards. Your role will involve examining vehicles for safety, roadworthiness, and environmental standards, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements for legal operation on public roads.

Location:Hounslow (Located right outside of Hounslows Railway Station)

Salary:From 28k upto 35k (based on experience)

Job type:Monday to Friday (07:30-17:30) Alternate Saturday (07:30 - 13:00)

The company are seeking skilled Vehicle Technicians and MOT testers to join their highly professional team at the garage in Hounslow.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be carrying out a full range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance and repair procedures on a range of vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • MOT Tester Skills required
  • Servicing
  • Repairs such as brakes, exhausts, clutches, timing belts, MOT failure work
  • Diagnostics (we have a range of machines)
  • Conduct full examinations of vehicles and identify faults

The successful candidate will:

  • Be Level 3 or 2 qualified
  • Be an experienced MOT Tester /Technician/Vehicle Mechanic with a relevant formal qualification or experience
  • Have good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to colleagues
  • Be quality and customer focused with repairs being carried out right first time
  • Have a full UK drivers' licence
  • Any auto electrical knowledge would be beneficial however not essential.
