We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join our vibrant team and inspire the next generation of innovators and creators.Role Overview:As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at A-Level. You will inspire students to develop their creative and practical skills, fostering a love for design and technology. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Design and Technology, including product design, textiles, and resistant materials.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
Stay updated with the latest developments in design and technology education and integrate new ideas into your teaching.
Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events, enhancing the overall student experience.Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in Design and Technology or a related field.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for design and technology.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
