£400 - £625 per day (Outside IR35)

3 months – possibility of extension

Wiltshire (Hybrid)

We are working with our client in Advanced Engineering technology, who are seeking a Test Contract Engineer using PyTest to help with their automated testing system.

The testing ranges from simulation of radio protocol messages, transactions and control of a hardware testing rig.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Use PyTest for supporting the testing of Python Script
  • Support a team of test engineers in running automated system testing
  • Verification & Validation of test systems
  • Devise acceptance test algorithms.
  • Write scripts to generate test reports, including RAG test status.

Experience Requirements:

  • Expert experience in PyTest and Python
  • Understanding of docker containers
  • Understanding of control of hardware peripherals and cards
  • Understanding of GIT, GitLab or Jenkins

Rate and working arrangement:

  • £400 - £625 per day OUTSIDE IR35.
  • Role able to be worked remotely, but there will be requirements to travel on-site to the Wiltshire area.
  • 3-month contract could extend.
