Job type: Permanent

I have partnered with a global Financial Services company who are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Officer to join their expanding finance team. This newly created role will be responsible for preparing management accounts, AP processes, payment runs, VAT returns and assisting in audit. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a growing finance team in a multijurisdictional Financial Services company. The successful candidate will report to the Client Services Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing payment runs, bank recs and bookkeeping
  • AP processes
  • Assisting in internal and external audit
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2/3 years’ experience in similar role
  • Experience in accounting systems such as Xero/Twinfield is desired but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), Additional language is a plus but not essential.
  • Highly organised and motivated individual with ability wo work under own initiative.
