The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in marketing, working directly with us to support various campaigns and initiatives. You will assist in executing marketing campaigns, creating content, conducting market research, and performing general administrative tasks. Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Support: Assist in executing marketing campaigns, primarily targeting students.
  • Copy Review: Review marketing copy with the potential for writing some copy.
  • Template Building: Create email and SMS templates using our CRM system.
  • Market Research: Conduct market and competitor research to inform marketing strategies.
  • Reporting: Assist in basic reporting tasks such as tracking email performance, social media engagement, and retention metrics.
  • Design Work: Design marketing assets for communication materials.
  • General Admin: Perform general marketing communications (marcomms) administrative tasks.
  • Social Media: Update and generate ideas for creating content for social media.

Who You Are:

  • Current student or recent graduate: In the midst of a marketing or similar degree with at least one year of study completed, or a recent graduate.
  • Good Communicator: Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work well with team members and communicate effectively with different stakeholders, and strong writing skills to produce clear, engaging, and grammatically correct copy.
  • Eager Learner: Curious and proactive, keen to learn new skills, ask questions, and seek out opportunities for professional development while being open to feedback and willing to act on constructive criticism.
  • Versatile: Adaptable and flexible, comfortable taking on various tasks and adjusting to changing priorities and deadlines, with a resourceful problem-solving approach to find creative solutions.
  • Go-Getter: Highly motivated and enthusiastic, driven to achieve goals and make a positive impact on the team and projects, with a proactive mindset to contribute and improve processes.
  • Marketing Savvy: Basic understanding of marketing principles, familiarity with concepts such as market segmentation, branding, and digital marketing.
  • Social Media Enthusiast: Interested in creating social media content with a passion for developing and sharing content that engages and grows an audience.

Hours: 6 hours a day, 2 days a week (flexible to this being spread out across the week)
