Business Development Executive

A Top 50 law firm is recruiting for a Business Development Executive to sit in their Real Estate team.

Reporting into the Business Development Manager, you will be supporting on all marketing and BD for the department, playing a critical role in helping these teams to deliver their BD and marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Development and execution of practice and sector Business Development plans
- Undertaking target research and providing company and industry/sector information in support of bids and credentials
- Managing legal directory and award submissions for the real estate teams
- Using the CRM system to maintain, update and report on the teams’ sales pipelines
- Liaise with BD colleagues to provide real estate-specific content for firm-wide pitches
- Working closely with the Business Development Manager, Marketing and Communications, External Suppliers and the Events team to raise the profile of the Real Estate team through various channels including thought leadership, client newsletters, articles, podcasts, webinars, conferences and other industry events
- Managing the team’s events working with the BD manager and events team including follow up activities
- Development and maintenance of the real estate intranet pages
Skills & Experience
- 18 months - 2 years experience in a business development role within professional services (ideally law)
- Experience sat in a Real Estate team would be a bonus
- Highly proficient communication skills and in particular - strong writing and editing skills
- Professional, positive and proactive self-starter
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
