Our Peterlee manufacturing client is looking for an Advanced Purchasing Analyst for an eighteen-month contract. You will be overseeing the purchase of machinery, equipment, parts, or services necessary for the operation of the establishment.

Youwill demonstrate advanced project management skills collecting, compiling, assimilating, communicating, and maintaining information as required. You will assess and recommend solutions related to QCLDM. Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards within this diverse global organisation

As an Advanced Purchasing Analyst, you will need previous purchasing experience. IE Junior/Buyer purchasing background. There are three buyers linked to this role and you should already be experienced with Visio and Purchasing systems. The position interfaces between suppliers and internal stakeholders. Participation in and providing analysis related to CPPD/NPI projects to Product and Procurement teams, too.

Responsibilities

  • The position requires an undergraduate degree from a college or university – or equivalent experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill in use of computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, purchasing systems, and e-mail systems is preferred.
  • Requires effective communications skills – both oral and written.
  • Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style.
  • Preferred that the incumbent is familiar with basic procurement and quality principles, procedures, and techniques.
  • Required to be able to prioritize work in a dynamic environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field required
