With a reputation for excellence and innovation, they provide comprehensive solutions to clients across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors and as they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented and experienced Building Surveyor to join us in a pivotal role as Associate Director. Position Overview: As a Building Surveyor / Associate Director, you will play a key role in leading their surveying team, managing projects, and providing expert advice to clients. Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of surveyors, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Oversee all aspects of building surveying projects, from inception to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Conduct detailed surveys, inspections, and assessments of buildings, identifying defects, recommending repairs, and providing cost estimates. Prepare comprehensive reports, schedules of work, and specifications, communicating findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders. Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and other professionals, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service. Stay abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance and driving innovation in our services.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent professional accreditation. Extensive experience in building surveying, with a proven track record of managing projects and leading teams. Strong technical knowledge of building construction, defects analysis, and repair methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels. Proficiency in relevant software and technology, including CAD software and surveying tools. A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
