Do you have experience in the design of switch-mode power supplies and their associated microcontrollers?

I am currently recruiting for a client based near Cambridge who is looking for a Senior Power Supply Design Engineer, who can create the next generation of power supplies and their controllers, creating value for their customers.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Develop next-generation solutions based on client requirements.
  • Provide technical support to external design teams
  • Take leadership on new developments
  • Undertake systems architecture and requirements

The Senior Power Supply Design Engineer will have a degree in electronics or electrical engineering with proven exposure in the following:

  • Common SMPS topologies
  • Magnetics design
  • Control loop theory
  • Digital and analogue
