We are working with a leading client in the Satellite Communications sector. Their cutting edge technology has enabled people and businesses to connect worldwide. They are now seeing an Experienced Engineering Manager to join and lead their growing team.

About the role:

As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers with a hand on approach, in the design, development, and deployment of advanced satellite communication systems. You will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and fostering a culture of innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, design and develop engineering projects
  • Oversee the development and execution of validation plans for satellite communication systems, ensuring all products meet rigorous performance and reliability standards.
  • Manage the design, implementation, and verification of FPGA-based solutions for satellite communication systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, addressing complex technical challenges Continuously improve engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the satellite communications or aerospace industry
  • Strong technical background, proficiency with C / C++
  • Extensive experience in FPGA design and development
  • Experience with FPGA verification methodologies, including simulation, emulation, and hardware testing
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Bonus: having an understanding of 4G / 5G protocols
